Public Comment - This section provides the public the opportunity to address the Elections Commission on any items on the Agenda. Members of the public wishing to participate must complete a Witness Card specifying which agenda item they wish to comment on. Each public member will be allowed a total of Three (3) minutes within which to make any/all public comments.
Discussion and possible action regarding the Evaluation Report from the Office of the Secretary of State Elections Division with reference to the 20 16 Primary Election inspection conducted during the March 1st Primary Election; and any other matters inident therto.
Discussion and possible action to discuss Fund 17 - Elections Contract Services (Fees paid to the County for overseeing elections from other entities, i.e. city, college etc.) with reference to the financial accounting procedures currently in place for said account. Claims against the fund shall be audited and approved in the same manner as other claims against the county before they are paid as required by the county auditor; and any other matters incident thereto.
Discussion and possible action to evaluate the performance of the Webb County Elections Admiistrator, who is subject to the authority of the Webb County Election Commission. The commission may take any appropriate disciplinary action deemed necessary to implement its decision, including termination and/or the appointment of an interim administrator if necessary; and any other matters incident thereto.
